Day 01 : Cochin – Kumarakom

Arrive in Cochin Airport transfer to Kumarakom.  Kumarakom, a charming resort on the backwaters of Kerala overlooking the eastern shore of Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom a renowned bird sanctuary on the banks of Vembanad Lake, along the backwaters of Kerala. Backwaters are a unique web of lakes, lagoons, canals and rivers, which forms an integral part of Kerala’s tourism scenario.  Kumarakom is well known for its varied avian population.  Migratory birds can be seen in the season.

Day 03 : Kumarakom – Thekkady

Morning after breakfast transfer to “Thekkady”, conjures up images of elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. The Periyar forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India, and spread across the entire district are picturesque plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and mountain walks.

Day 05 : Thekkady  - Munnar

Morning after breakfast move to Munnar, located 1800 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make this destination a popular resort town.  .  Munnar is also the home of Nilgiri Tahrs, an endangered species of wild goat.

Day 06 : Munnar

Morning after break fast proceed to sight seeing tour of Munnar.  Sightseeing tour around Munnar takes you to tea gardens where picturesque colonial towns and meandering mountain streams present photo opportunities galore.  You will be taken for a visit to Rajamalai where you can watch Nilgiri Tahrs in their natural habitat.  You will also be visiting the nearby Mattuppetty Dam & boating.

Day 07 : Munnar – Athirapally

Morning after breakfast move to Athirappally after refreshment You will visit Athirappally water falls, Sholayar ranges this waterfall is a popular picnic spot. Affording to the onlookers, one of the most bewitching sights, Athirappally Falls is about 80 feet high and located in the forest area.   Combined with the greenery, it infuses freshness into any tired soul.

Day 08 : Athirapally – Cochin

Morning after breakfast transfer to Cochin. Full at leisure.

Day 09 : Cochin

Morning after breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Cochin, the city famed as ‘Queen of Arabian Sea’, which takes you to Mattanchery Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), St. Francis Church, the Oldest European Church in India, the Chinese Fishing Nets - living symbols of   centuries Old Chinese influence. Evening you can take shopping in Cochin.

Day 10 : Cochin
